Our elegant, fruity wines are crafted for every palate and every occasion. The vineyards are planted in different soil types from the slopes of the Langeberg Mountains to the banks of the Breede River and drier areas, giving the grapes an array of flavours. We make wines to enjoy and compliment your life and style.
Collection
The name Ashton Kelder is synonymous with a wide range of wines. The Ashton Kelder range includes dry, white, red semi-sweet and fortified wines. Our every day wines are ‘Satyn Rooi’, ‘Satyn Wit’ and ‘Satyn Rosé’. An award-winning reserve range delights the connoisseur. We produce the old South African favourite Special Late Harvest and are one of the only wineries to produce Petillant Blanc - an off dry white wine with a sparkling fizz, ideal for Spritzer Cocktails and to compliment light lunches. We produce two sparkling wines - named after roses, Bonica (vin doux) and Pascali (brut).
Export Selection
Specially selected wines for the international market are bottled under the Ashton Kelder and Berryfields labels. The three-tier range of wines is selectively sourced from our member farms of which vineyards are under constant scrutiny to ensure the best of quality is bottled to be served to you. The Cellar has the only deionised concentrate production facility in South Africa. This concentrate is supplied to the fruit canning, food beverage and wine industries.
